INDOPOL L-8
INDOPOL L-8 is a polybutene oligomer with typical properties such as molecular weight of 320, polydispersity index of 1.65, flash point above 60°C, turbidity below 4 NTU and acid number below 0.05 mg KOH/g. INDOPOL L-8 has a bromine number of 57 g Br2/100g and low levels of chlorine, low heavy metals, and low sulfur. With a pour point of 21°C and refractive index of 1.467, INDOPOL L-8 offers excellent characteristics. INDOPOL L-8 high flash point and low volatility make it suitable for applications at high temperatures. INDOPOL L-8 provides good lubrication and helps reduce friction and wear and is thus widely used in the Lubricants and Energy industry for its ability to improve efficiency and performance. INDOPOL L-8 is permanently non-drying, colourless and non-staining, tacky, emulsifiable, excellent electrical insulator, good lubricant / shear stable, non-corrosive, practically non-toxic, stable to light under ambient conditions, low pour point, complete depolymerisation.
